Brown, Blue and White Wavy Afghan

I bought the yarn for this afghan early last fall and started crocheting and then re-started, re-started and re-started again. I just wasn't happy with the way any of the patterns I tried were turning out! Finally, shortly before Thanksgiving I was browsing through my sisters' Christmas books and found a red and green afghan pattern and decided to give it a try. After a few fine-tunings, I got it where I wanted it and then just crocheted away.

I crocheted around the Christmas preparations, family visiting/moving, and New Years celebrations. On through January I kept crocheting and finished the border shortly before Jan 31st. I was so happy!
It's big, and when I say big, I mean BIG. It's huge!

I like the colors! The pattern is pretty, too. And the size sounds quite impressive!
