Denim Quilt

I started cutting the squares for this quilt more than a year ago when I was visiting/staying with family. This previous fall when a cold spell hit, I decided to start quilting it. I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to quilting, I just do what I want. Hopefully that won't get me into trouble. :-) I wanted this quilt to have a very rustic feel, so I used embroidery floss and free-handed (?) around each square and then stitched the border. I'm quite happy with the way it turned out, even if it weighs a ton!

That looks pretty much amazing! The heavier, the warmer! :)

Oohh, I've been saving worn out jeans just so I could do this too! I just haven't gotten brave enough to actually cut and sew :-)
