When my sister-in-law to be showed up with this pattern, I knew I had to make it, too. :-) Fortunately, my little sister already had it, so I just had to find the right fabric. I wasn't sure about this fabric when I bought it, but it very quickly grew on me and I love it now! Not to mention the fact that it goes perfectly with several items already in my wardrobe. :-)
It has *just* the right amount of twirl!
Last minute, I decided to enter it into our county fair, one my first items ever entered. I won first place and honorable mention. I was blown away! Wow! I'm definitely going to be entering more in the fair in the future. :-D I really appreciate the notes that are included with each ribbon.... givings tips, advice, and compliments.
Later on, I made this skirt in denim as well, but much longer. That one's a favorite for the cold winter months!
