I started out trying to make a scarf for a gift, but quickly discovered that it would not be long enough. So, I raided my stash and found the rest of these yarns that needed to be used up, so I turned the project into an afghan. Two weeks later, it was completed and I was happy. The color combination is still growing on me as it's certainly not one I would have originally chosen. I think I'll add it to my gift stash, as I don't need another afghan right now. Especially since I am planning to make another one!

I've spent the morning looking at your sister's blog, and I have realized two things: one, I miss you girls!, and two, you are all SOOO awesome at your handiwork!! Your littlest sister's dresses were extremely cool (especially the blue one with white polka dots). Now that my shape is changing, I couldn't exactly fit into dresses like that :-), but they look oh-so-tempting for a nice spring or summer day!!
Correction: I meant to say, "sisters' blogs"...
