So, it's only a month after Christmas, can't I still post pictures of christmas giftwrap? Yes. I can. ( I was just asking to you know, ask, but I fully intended to post anyway) :-)
Here are a few of the turquoise earrings wrapped up.
I printed a template for pillow boxes off the internet (be careful when searching online - I've found a lot of viruses) and then I used scrapbook paper glued to regular cardstock paper. The gold one in the middle is actually tissue paper glued to cardstock that I've had in the supply box for years. Seriously. The cute little snowmen are transfers that I found somewhere (probably the local dollar store). These were very easy to make, but did require being sandwiched between heavy books overnight while drying to get them to stay together correctly.
I was in the mood for using up wrapping paper this year, and while this in not technically Christmas paper, I really like it and knew I'd be short on the actual Christmas paper. Purple is not a traditional Christmas color, but I really like it with the paper.
Here are some of the turquoise earrings wrapped up all pretty with two shades of the purple ribbon. I had intended to make pillow boxes for all of them, but I ran out of time.
