I took a beading class last year (I can't even remember when now - that's bad!) and I've been feeling so creative ever since. I hadn't arranged to take the class with a gal I know, she just happened to be the only other student. We had a lot of fun together! I chose brown and aqua (haha! - no surprise there) to make my necklce and earrings. I knew that I wanted to use my new training to make Christmas gifts for the girls in the family and a few friends.
My sister made a few jewelry sets using the turquoise beads that you see in the pictures. When I saw them combined with the silver beads, I knew that's the theme I wanted to use. Not to mentioned that turquoise is "in"right now.
Each pair of earrings in the pictures are different - no two the same. Similar, yes, but not the same. That was purposeful, that's why I'm harping on it so much. :-)
^The first three sets that I made.
^The second batch I made (along with a few more that aren't pictured). Yes, the second from the right one does not have any turquoise beads. I specifically made that pair for my sister that already had turquoise jewelry.
I'll be back with more jewelry projects later this week.

What a fun "skill" to know! I'm a big fan of making things that work as gifts, and these are all so pretty! I love how they're all uniquely different. :)
Thank you, Hannah!
