So, this project is really old.
I made these in 2009 for my sister's bridal shower. Blending both of their styles, they had a "Carhartt" wedding. So, I made the bride and groom matching aprons. I found this twill that is very similar to Carhartt green.
Hers - I used my standby feminine apron pattern that I altered so much you wouldn’t recognize the original pattern if you saw it.
His - I printed a guy's apron pattern off the internet and then made several changes.
Both - I stitched a Carhartt patch to the pocket to help with the theme.
Conclusion - They were highly popular with all the ladies at the bridal shower (It’s a where I live thing). And, being made out of twill, they are very durable. I entered both of them into the county fair and took away two blue ribbons.
To the next project,
