Don't stay up as late as I did

My weekends usually start on Thursday evenings, so...

Midnight on Thursday found me half waiting for my two sisters to return from their skiing trip and half to knit and watch a movie. The girls returned with snippets and funnies from their day. But, just as I was slipping between the sheets several minutes later, my other sister and I both voiced the thought that we shouldn't have stayed up for them. I think I'm still exhausted from that.

Friday I spent a few hours cleaning my car out (I still need to post a picture). :-) Not only did I vacuum it, but I wiped down all the vinyl and organized the glovebox, center console and the back, too. I've made a list of all the items that I need to get for the car to spiff it up some. To my surprise, I discovered that my little car owns property, too. Yup, you heard that right. It owns a couple of royal blue load straps.

My siblings and I had to be up and at work for the neighbor by 8:00am on Saturday. I have learned to treasure every minute of sleep I can get these days... I then spent the afternoon washing laundry and sorting through some of the girls belongings stuff upstairs. With two bags ready to donate, I consider that progress. There is still a long way to go...

(For the record, all the stuff I'm donating is mine. Many is the time that I've considered donating stuff that belonged to my sisters, but I never have.) :-D
